Robust and transparent governance underpins the Climate Activator Certification Programme. Anthesis Group ensures that all Standards and Programme Documents reflect a fair balance of stakeholder interests.

- Internal checks by a Content Standardisation Committee to maintain consistency

Anthesis is responsible for:

- Effective coordination, planning, and information sharing
Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee plays a key role in decision-making and must approve any new version of Programme Documents. Comprising senior stakeholder representatives, it ensures content reflects diverse interests, meets stakeholder needs, and achieves intended impact. Input is gathered through consultations, and where consensus cannot be reached, the Committee may vote.
Content Standardisation Committee
The Content Standardisation Committee (CSC) is an internal group that addresses audit and certification issues to ensure consistency and credibility. Decisions are recorded centrally and shared with the Certification Team, with recurring issues informing future revisions.
Programme Review & Technical Working Groups
Programme content is regularly reviewed against legislation, scientific developments, and IPCC guidance. When updates are needed, a clear decision-making framework defines stakeholder input and approval. Technical Working Groups, made up of internal and external experts, may be convened to address complex issues.
